Seasonal Support Associate/Sales Associate FT and PT/Holiday Sales Associate
Overview:
As a Seasonal Store Support Associate, you will be an integral part of Macy's ability to maintain the high customer service and presentations standards for which we are known. Performing wide-ranging functions anywhere from receiving new merchandise to reconfiguring a selling floor, you will be challenged daily.
Key Accountabilities:
The activities that go on behind the scenes to support our selling floor are wide ranging. Your responsibilities will be wide ranging as well:
Seasonal Receiving Associate
• Receive new shipments
• Maintain stock rooms to departmental security standards
• Process markdowns and damaged merchandise
• Assist in floor moves and merchandising floor to departmental standards
Seasonal Merchandising Associate
• Coordinate and display merchandise on the selling floor
• Must be able to merchandise new receipts in a timely manner
• Place new receipts to current selling floor standards
• Back stock all overflow
• Assist in floor moves and merchandising floor to departmental standards
• Light housekeeping
Skills Summary:
When working in a support area certain skills are critical. Some of the qualities you should possess to be a successful Seasonal Store Support Associate is accuracy, dependability, strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good attendance, including following scheduled shifts and availability Monday-Friday, early mornings and weekends is a must.

As a Temporary Sales Associate with a flexible schedule, you will be the most critical link in ensuring that our customers have a rewarding experience that will keep them coming back time after time. Temporary Associates must be available to work on the weekends, the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas. Think you're a good fit? The ideal Store Sales Manager candidate may come from a variety of industries but will most likely have a successful background of at least 3 or more years selling and managing sales in a high-end or big-ticket (over $100) sales environment. Our preferred candidate has previously been responsible for meeting team sales quotas with a track record of consistently exceeding those goals.
• 3+ years proven sales management track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Prefer high-end/specialty store management experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, referral & lead generation, & sales techniques.
• Prior success in recruiting, training, and motivating & retaining top talent essential.
