Giving Back Thanksgiving

Gallatin Valley Mall has been closed the last four years on Thanksgiving; a decision that will be repeated this year after receiving overwhelming support from retailers and customers. We’re pleased to give this day back to our employees and their families. The mall will be open 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Black Friday, with select retailers opening at 6:00 AM.

Shopping Tips

After shortening operating hours this spring due to COVID-19, Gallatin Valley Mall will resume normal business hours of 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM Sundays for the month of November and December.

  1. Take advantage of early sales. Many retailers are offering “Black Friday” deals the entire month of November to take the pressure off the day after Thanksgiving and promote social distancing.

  2. Cross holiday shopping off your list. Take advantage of great deals and avoid last minute shopping to prevent crowding and long lines.

  3. Shop safe. If you have a compromised immune system, consider convenient options like curbside pickup, door side pickup, or buy online, pickup in store.
Did you know? Buying online and choosing the pickup in store option not only eliminates shipping costs and wait times, but the dollars you spend go through the cash register at many of our stores and supports our local workforce.

Bottom line: shop safe and shop early. You’ll help retail workers, your family, and your community- because we all deserve a happy and healthy holiday season.

Best Selection of Holiday Vendors

Best of 406 Marketplace showcases local vendors selling unique items that are handmade, grown, created, built, or improved in the 406. Located in a storefront near Macy’s, the Marketplace features local vendors selling handmade jewelry, stationary, ceramics, pottery, hot sauce, jams, Alpaca products, and more.

As in the past, there are additional holiday pop-up vendors in the mall, including customer favorites, Chalet Market and Go Calendar! You’ll find a different assortment of vendors each week throughout the mall offering handcrafted knitted items, soap, jewelry, home décor, novelty clothing, beauty products, and much more.

Santa’s Going Contactless

Ho - Ho - Ho! Santa Claus is on his way to the Gallatin Valley Mall Macy’s Court for photos November 21 through December 24. This year more than ever, we believe the joy, comfort, and familiarity that Santa Claus embodies will be incredibly meaningful to the children in our community (and let’s face it, adults too)! Santa is committed to spreading cheer, not germs, so the beloved tradition of sitting on Santa’s knee will be put on hold this year, as he’s asking everyone to keep a social distance of 6 feet. With a few photography tricks and creative alternatives, your family can still capture special memories chatting with Santa and go home with a great photograph.
